What makes you excited about coming to work?
The fun colleagues in CCCS who would organise ad-hoc gatherings in the office (e.g. making hand rolls, sandwich party for lunch etc).
The challenges for an IT guru to assist all my colleagues in their IT queries and problems and making sure all the IT infrastructures are operational.
What do you find most satisfying about your work in CCCS?
My job satisfaction is that all CCCS officers are able to access IT resources in CCCS without any problems. In addition to that, they are able to work from home or overseas with ease of VPN connection.
If you have to give advice to a new recruit, what would it be?
CCCS has a young and lively working environment, you will be able to gain knowledge on various aspects of CCCS (i.e. enforcement, legal, economy) during your time here. The work in CCCS is challenging, but very satisfying.
How do you achieve work-life balance?
CCCS encourages staff to have work-life balance. Every Wednesday is a "sports day" where staff can knock off early to engage in sports activities. I will regularly play badminton every Wednesday between 6 to 9 pm.
My colleagues and supervisor always encourage me to go back on time to spend more time with my baby girl.
