Case Summary | The Competition Commission of Singapore (“CCS”) issued an Infringement Decision against 12 motor vehicle traders for contravening Section 34 of the Competition Act (Cap.50B) (the “Act”), by engaging in an anti-competitive agreement to suppress bids at public auctions of motor vehicles over a period of three years from January 2008 to March 2011. CCS is imposing financial penalties totalling $179,071.00 on the Parties for the infringements. The Parties are: i. Pang’s Motor Trading; Further information on the investigation, analysis of the case and the basis of calculation of the financial penalty imposed on the infringing parties are set out in the Infringement Decision. |
