Sharing Session by Professor Joseph Harrington on Cartel Detection

On 4 April 2017, Professor Joseph Harrington visited CCS and shared his research and findings on collusive practices to detect and deter collusion. He is currently a Professor at the Department of Business Economics and Public Policy at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.  

CEprofharringtonAn expert in the field of cartel detection, Professor Harrington has conducted extensive research on collusion and cartels with the aim of understanding observed collusive practices, developing observable markers of collusion and designing competition policy to detect and deter collusion. 

CCS officers had an engaging and insightful sharing session with Prof Harrington. The event concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation by CCS’s Chief Executive, Mr Toh Han Li.
