CCS' reply to ST Forum Letter 'Medicine: Perhaps the authorities could examine whether suppliers and pharmacies are engaged in price-fixing'

The law says... 'It is illegal for companies to engage in price-fixing.'

Under the Competition Act, it is illegal for companies to engage in price-fixing ('Medicine: Perhaps the authorities could examine whether suppliers and pharmacies are engaged in price-fixing' by Mr Christopher Teng; Wednesday). We will conduct an investigation if there are reasonable grounds to suspect the Act has been infringed. In this regard, we invite parties who have information about price-fixing activities to report to us.
