The directions will be suspended on an interim basis if an open-platform competitor attains 30% or more of total rides matched in the market for two-sided platforms matching drivers and riders for chauffeured point-to-point transport services in Singapore for 1 calendar month. The directions will be released if an open-platform competitor attains that share for 6 consecutive calendar months. 

22 July 2019: CCCS approved an application by Grab to vary paragraph 372(f) of the directions to allow Grab to introduce an additional $1 fee for a booking on 'GrabShare' with an additional rider (i.e., no additional fee is charged if the booking is for a single rider).

12 December 2019: CCCS approved an application by Grab to vary paragraph 372(f) of the directions to allow Grab to modify its 'JustGrab' service to include its “Willing to Share” feature.

25 March 2020: CCCS approved an application by Grab to vary paragraph 372(f) of the directions to allow Grab to introduce an advanced booking option for its GrabCar Premium, GrabCar Premium 6 and GrabCar 6 services.

27 March 2020: CCCS approved an application by Grab to vary paragraph 372(f) of the directions to allow Grab to impose exclusivity obligations on GrabResponse, a special service to transport non-serious Covid-19 patients between healthcare facilities as determined and requested by the Ministry of Health.
