SMU Law at Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot 2019

A team from the Singapore Management University School of Law (SMU Law) qualified to compete in the Oral Rounds of the Herbert Smith Freehills Competition Law Moot held from 13 to 15 June 2019 in London. The SMU Law team consisted of Year 2 students Louis Lau, Soh Kian Peng, Su Jin Chandran and Chai Wen Min.

For the written round of the competition, teams from all over the world were invited to submit their written arguments. The SMU Law team was placed 8th overall for their written memo. The top 12 teams then proceeded to the Oral Rounds in London.

CCCS was the corporate sponsor of the SMU Law team and will be welcoming members of the team as interns in the later part of the year to learn more about competition law in practice. Read more the team's experience here.
